You will complete a waitlist form on our website: www.happyhippo.net.au and click the register now tab on the top right-hand side. We will then offer you a place in the order you appear on the waitlist. Once we have a definite idea of a start date we will ask you for a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your place, but this amount will come off your first week’s fees or until it is used up. You will then be sent a link to an enrolment form to complete in preparation for your child starting care. You will need to complete this form and return it to us electronically. We will then liaise with you regarding orientation before your start date.
You may be eligible to claim CCS. Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a payment from the Australian Government that helps you with the cost of your child care. This is based on your family’s activity test. More information can be found at: https://www.humanservices.gov.au/individuals/services/centrelink/child-care-subsidy
You must be registered with Centrelink to be eligible for these payments. This will then be noted against your CRN (customer reference number) and your child will have their own CRN. To start care you will be required to have these numbers which will allow us to access your information and to reduce your out-of-pocket fees.
